Grilled Halloumi Cheese

A simple and delicious grilled halloumi cheese dish with a crispy exterior and soft interior.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the halloumi slices lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  3. Sprinkle oregano and black pepper evenly over the cheese slices.
  4. Grill the halloumi for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown grill marks appear.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
