For the Crust:
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 can black beans, drained and mashed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine cooked quinoa, mashed black beans, breadcrumbs, egg, red onion, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
