For the Crust:
- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season the fish fillets with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side until flaky and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream and lime juice to make the lime crema.
- Assemble bowls by dividing rice among four bowls. Top with flaked fish, avocado slices, cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Drizzle with lime crema and serve immediately.
