For the Crust:

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and ginger. Pour over the beef and vegetables.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Stir into the crock pot and cook for an additional 15 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
