For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape into balls.
- Roll each ball into a flat circle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry each dough circle for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
