Crispy Honey Garlic Salmon

For the Crust:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear salmon skin-side down for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Transfer salmon to the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the honey garlic glaze.
  6. Bake for 5-7 minutes until salmon is cooked through and glaze is caramelized.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
