Juicy chicken with a perfectly crispy, golden crust without deep frying. A healthier alternative that doesn’t sacrifice flavor or texture.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan and spices.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place chicken on prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F and coating is golden and crispy.
