- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in heavy cream and milk until smooth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in salt, pepper, oregano, and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.
