Creamy Egg Custard Delight

A smooth and creamy egg custard dessert with a hint of vanilla.

For the Crust:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into ramekins or a baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg if desired.
  4. Place ramekins in a baking pan and fill the pan with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until custard is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Let cool before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
