For the Crust:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir well and simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add the cooked penne. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
