For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup egg noodles
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
- Add chicken breasts, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
- Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
