For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup egg noodles

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add chicken breasts, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
