For the Crust:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and cooled
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, celery, red bell pepper, red onion, and parsley to the bowl.
- Gently toss all ingredients until evenly coated with the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
