For the Crust:
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the surface, then sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and blueberries evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal slices. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
