For the Crust:
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Arrange the sliced strawberries and mozzarella on a serving platter in an alternating pattern.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves between the strawberry and mozzarella slices.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately or chill for 10 minutes before serving for enhanced flavors.
