For the Crust:

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub flank steak with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Grill steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Slice steak against the grain and arrange on a platter.
  5. Top with tomato and mozzarella slices, then garnish with fresh basil.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
