For the Crust:
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add remaining oil and stir-fry broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return the beef to the pan, add the cooked noodles and green onions. Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
