Description

A spicy and crispy fried chicken dish with a creamy, tangy sauce, perfect for appetizers or main courses.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up breading stations: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third.
  3. Bread the chicken: Dredge each piece in flour, then dip in eggs, and coat with panko.
  4. Fry the chicken: Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Make the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, and honey.
  6. Toss and serve: Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until coated. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the hot sauce. Ensure oil is at the correct temperature to avoid greasy chicken.
