Description

A delightful dump cake that combines bananas, chocolate, and cherries for a fun twist on a classic banana split.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced bananas over the pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
  5. Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the cake mix.
  6. Top with halved cherries and chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the melted butter over the entire mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
