Description
A delightful dump cake that combines bananas, chocolate, and cherries for a fun twist on a classic banana split.
Ingredients

- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
 - 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
 - 3 ripe bananas, sliced
 - 1 cup chopped walnuts
 - 1 cup chocolate syrup
 - 1 cup maraschino cherries, halved
 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - Spread the crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
 - Layer the sliced bananas over the pineapple.
 - Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
 - Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the cake mix.
 - Top with halved cherries and chopped walnuts.
 - Pour the melted butter over the entire mixture.
 - Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
 - Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
 
Notes
This cake is best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the full banana split experience.
