- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long side to form a log, then pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the roll on a baking sheet, seam side down, and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a crispier roll, bake on a wire rack. This recipe pairs well with ketchup or mustard for dipping.
