Description

A savory roll filled with ground beef, bacon, and cheese, perfect for a fun twist on a classic burger.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and crumbled bacon. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  5. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
  8. Roll the dough tightly from one long side to form a log, then pinch the edges to seal.
  9. Place the roll on a baking sheet, seam side down, and brush with beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a crispier roll, bake on a wire rack. This recipe pairs well with ketchup or mustard for dipping.
