- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- Optional: 1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the starter and milk.
- Add oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pans.
- Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on wire rack before slicing.
Notes
This bread improves with age; wrap and store for a few days for best flavor. The starter can be refrigerated and used multiple times.
